By road from Calais (1550 km)

From Calais ( France) follow Metz, Colmar, Basel, Gotthardtunnel, Milano, Bologna towards Ancona on A14 . Then leave the autostrada at Marotta to follow the SS 424 to Pergola and San Lorenzo in Campo . Just before leaving San.Lourenzo in.C. turn left to head for Arcevia first on the SP59 and after 3-4 kms turn left again on the SP 14 which will lead you though Nidastore, San Pietro, passing Palazzo direction Arcevia. Immediately after entering Montefortino take the first to your right. When driving uphill you will see our parking lot and small Chapel on your left. Welcome on Borgo Belfiore. Finally the relaxing part of your holidays will start.

By air

From London Stansted there are daily Ryanair flights to Ancona from where you can take a rent-a-car or indeed we can collect you to bring you to Montefortino for a reasonable fee. Just let us know in time. Coming from Scandinavia you may as well fly via London-Stansted if your connection can be guaranteed by Ryanair. Also Bologna airport will do fine. Rent a car or take the train to Senigallia. In case you intend to visit also other places first or at the end of your holidays you could fly to Florence or Pisa airport too. Indeed even Rome (with 3 airports) will do just fine. Again rent a car is an option as is the airport bus and trains either from the North to Senigallia or from the South (Rome) to Fabriano. From either of these there are regular bus connections. If you wish we will pick you up from Senigallia or Fabriano to bring you to Montefortino at a reasonable fare. Just let us know timely in advance and moreover do not forget to keep our mobile phone numbers with you in case you travel schedule will change due to unforeseen events. Barcelona, Paris and Munich and many other American flight connections can bring you to Falconara near Ancona and or any of the 3 Rome airports.

By train

When you enter Italy from the North of Europe your connection finally will be the Bologna to Ancona/Bari line and your end station is Senigallia. From the South it will be Fabriano. Check out www.trenitalia.com . Then from both stations there regular bus connections to Arcevia from where we are happy to pick you up if you let us know well in advance. We can check out the bus connection should you wish so. You can request to be picked up from either of the 2 train stations. Just let us know well in advance and will organise this at a reasonable fee. Do not forget to have our mobile numbers with you to inform us just in case you will have an unintended change of travel schedule.
