Cities like Fano, Senigallia, Jesi and Ancona offer all you require; beach, exclusive boutiques, nightlife and of course ... a golf course.

We are convinced that there is more than sufficient to satisfy a wide variety of guests’ interests and to provide a marvellous vacation, whether it’s sporting, exciting or relaxing. Whether you are with your partner, your family or just on your own, you will feel at home at Belfiore; it is also an excellent location for small conferences, family reunions and marriages.

Borgo Belfiore consists of 4 historic buildings in 7.5 acres of beautiful countryside. It lies at an altitude of 1300ft. on the outskirts of the little village of Montefortino and offers spectacular views over the enchanting landscape and rolling hills of Le Marche. The spacious pool is at the highest point of the estate and offers a breath-taking panorama.

Our four historic buildings have recently been completely restored with dedicated and sympathetic care in the authentic style, whilst offering all modern comforts. The “padronal house” called Villa Belfiore has old wall paintings and its own small chapel. Today the house is home to 8 apartments and a reception area.

The Frantoio functioned a long time ago as the local olive oil mill. Today it hosts 5 apartments, a spacious guests’ dining room and a kitchen. The former farmhouse, Casa Susanne, a Casa Colonic, is the home of the proprietors, Susanne and Pieter..

The old wine cellars offer wonderful and spacious room for different workshops and all kinds of indoor activities. A small chapel, “San Michele”, located in the front garden, was, in the old days, frequently visited by local women to pray. Yet today it is a place to meditate or just sit and relax and contemplate the world.

We, S & P, have both, for many years, worked in international marketing management and during last years have been trained and certified as coach based on the basis of NLP. Having dreamed of living and working in southern Europe we have now finally become the happy and enthusiastic proprietors of 'Borgo Belfiore'.

Why Italy and why Le Marche?

Here in Italy we experience the roots of our history and a natural feeling of happiness. Italy is a land of enchanting discoveries and the glory of its monuments and architecture. All we experience in Le Marche. The countryside and rolling hills of Le Marche is a joy to behold. We find the people here most appealing. Honest, friendly and open. They are fiercely proud of their region and enjoying la dolce vita.

The pace of life is quite different here Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero' - enjoy today, trusting little in tomorrow From our own personal experience we know this advice is suited more to relaxing holidays and much less to restoring and renovating Italian houses... Our dream has come true.

To live more in harmony with nature and create an ambience where the guest won't be 'just the guest' but will feel relaxed and totally at home while being able to enjoy a tailor made service.
