For nature lovers and hikers alike, Borgo Belfiore is the place to be. Also those aficionados of Italian art and culture will find eternal fascination here. To fans of Italy who know Tuscany by heart, the Borgo of “Beautiful Flowers” is an excellent starting point to explore the region of Le Marche.
Golf players and golf widows will find their visits equally rewarding: Belfiore lies only 35 km from the exciting shopping and entertainment opportunities of the Adriatic Coast. Cities like Fano, Senigallia, Jesi and Ancona offer all you require; beach, exclusive boutiques, nightlife and of course ... a golf course.
We are convinced that there is more than sufficient to satisfy a wide variety of guests’ interests and to provide a marvellous vacation, whether it’s sporting, exciting or relaxing. Whether you are with your partner, your family or just on your own, you will feel at home at Belfiore; it is also an excellent location for small conferences, family reunions and marriages.

Borgo Belfiore consists of 4 historic buildings in 7.5 acres of beautiful countryside. It lies at an altitude of 1300ft. on the outskirts of the little village of Montefortino and offers spectacular views over the enchanting landscape and rolling hills of Le Marche. The spacious pool is at the highest point of the estate and offers a breath-taking panorama.
Our four historic buildings have recently been completely restored with dedicated and sympathetic care in the authentic style, whilst offering all modern comforts. The “padronal house” called Villa Belfiore has old wall paintings and its own small chapel. Today the house is home to 8 apartments and a reception area.

The Frantoio functioned a long time ago as the local olive oil mill. Today it hosts 5 apartments, a spacious guests’ dining room and a kitchen. The former farmhouse, Casa Susanne, a Casa Colonic, is the home of the proprietors, Susanne and Pieter..
The old wine cellars offer wonderful and spacious room for different workshops and all kinds of indoor activities. A small chapel, “San Michele”, located in the front garden, was, in the old days, frequently visited by local women to pray. Yet today it is a place to meditate or just sit and relax and contemplate the world.
Borgo Belfiore is a haven for flora with burgeoning sunflowers, grain and olives; figs, cherries, prunes and other fruit ripen gently under the caress of the sunny climate. The rich vegetable garden is the basis for the typical cuisine of Le Marche. Yet when you are not in the mood to prepare your own evening dinner you can relax and enjoy the 4 course guests’ dinners in the Frantoio.
Le Marche is the region in Italy also known as New Tuscany. Yet inland you will find few tourists compared to the hot spots of Tuscany and even the coastal area is less crowded and more relaxing. The local characters are extremely friendly and proud of the beauty of their rolling hills and landscape. Typical of the region are the many well kept medieval towns and villages, often on hill tops and secured by strong walls where time seems to have stood still. There is an abundance of art, history and culture to discover. Le Marche is well known for its numerous small and fantastically decorated theatres, beautiful churches and intriguing castles. Its natural landscape is tailor made for walking and hiking.
The spacious Belfiore apartments, whilst providing all modern comforts and amenities, have been restored in a traditional style and have tasteful furnishings to give the authentic “Italian Feel”. Every apartment has niches, views, and a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and bidet as well as a fully equipped kitchen/corner. Most have their own terrace near the entrance or just a few yards away in the Borgo garden. In A few apartments and under special pre-conditions we can allow small pets. To guarantee tranquillity and to promote safety for our guests, cars remain on the nearby guests´ parking. Hospitality and comfort comes first on Belfiore.
